The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs will use the latest edgeTI product in the fight against COVID-19 pandemic.

edgeCore with Edge Robotic Process Automation is an upgrade to an existing edgeTI implementation already present in VA. It will provide not only additional visualization and integration capabilities, but also eliminate security vulnerablities, and enhance 508 Disability Compliance. In addition, it will also provide new robotic process automation features.

This shift to edgeCore allows people to move from understanding what is happening to taking direct, decisive action. Now, it is possible to do that without having to switch consoles or login to authorized systems.

Another reason why the edgeCore platform was the right fit for the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs fight against COVID-19, according to the sole source justification is that the platform is able to display real-time, live visualizations of data from other products as if it were the native, original product dashboard. At the same time, our solution is using data in its native location, so we don’t need to move or copy any sensitive information. The VA awarded the contract to Four Points Technology, a service disabled veteran-owned small business using NASA SEWP V.

“We are proud to be part of this effort, extend our fight against COVID-19 pandemic, and help our veterans”, said Nicholas Brigman, VP of Product and Marketing for Edge Technologies.
